Description
Kaiflex KK
Kaiflex KKplus is a closed-cell, flexible material with high vapor diffusion resistance and low thermal conductivity that provides reliable protection against energy loss even at low material thicknesses. Kaiflex KKplus also permanently prevents the formation of corrosion and condensation.
Classification
Kaiflex KKplus meets the increased building and fire protection as well as thermal requirements. The insulation material meets and exceeds the building material class BL/B-s2, d0 according to EN 13501-1, the standard in the regulations.
The insulation material is ideally suited for providing pipe penetrations with fire resistance of up to 90 and even 120 minutes according to DIN 4102-11. Kaiflex KKplus is self-extinguishing and does not drip. Furthermore, for pipe diameters up to 133 mm (steel) and 42 mm (copper), no additional fire protection collar is required when penetrating solid structural components.
