Who is Nisa?

A positive, spontaneous lady from Breda, born 41 years ago in Bergen op Zoom. I come from a family with 9 children of which I am the youngest and was of course the spoiled brat as a child. After studying hairdressing/beauty I ended up in the petrol station industry, where I ran a branch for 12 years as manager at BP. Due to circumstances I had to choose to quit and found out that an administrative function would suit me better.

I laugh a lot and like to go through life in a positive way. My hobbies are shopping, shopping and shopping! I love to make beautiful distant travels or go to Istanbul for a long weekend (to shop!). That's where I really relax, but I can also enjoy sitting at home in front of the TV with a cheese board or a delicious red velvet cake while watching a movie!

How did you end up at HANKO?

I was looking for a new challenge where I could get more out of myself. I saw a vacancy for HANKO on Indeed. I could already see myself in this company and I responded enthusiastically to the vacancy. I was immediately invited for an interview. From the very first day at HANKO I felt the warmth of the company!

What is your job at HANKO?

I have been working in the financial administration department at HANKO since July 2021. My daily tasks consist of creating and processing purchase and sales invoices and managing our creditors and debtors. Without a doubt, the most important task of the day is making sure the candyshop at my desk stays stocked so everyone gets through the workday with lots of energy!

What makes the job so much fun for you?

What makes the work so much fun for me are the colleagues! Because of them, I really feel at home at HANKO. What makes me feel at home is the enthusiasm of my colleagues. I can say that all my colleagues at HANKO are highly motivated in everything they do, which is to ensure that all our customers are satisfied and well served.

What are your strengths?

Starting the day positively and keeping it going all day long! I am caring, collegial, spontaneous, eager to learn and flexible. If I really want to achieve something, I'm prepared to go all the way, work hard and hit the nail on the head!

What does the HANKO family mean to you?

A day without laughter is a day not lived! I soon noticed that the HANKO family is really there for each other. It doesn't matter which department you work in, the HANKO family is one! You notice this feeling from the moment you walk in here. Every door is open to everyone. I think it's important that you can be yourself in the workplace and at HANKO you can!

What does Dedication for Insulation mean to you?

For me, Dedication for Insulation is the service, customer-friendliness and honesty that bring great results for our customers. After 9 months at HANKO, I never thought that, as a woman, I would find insulating materials interesting.
