Who is Mustafa?

I am 26 years old, born and raised in Hagen. I love nature, in my free time I like to hike in the forest. I am an active person and go running, swimming, cycling and to the gym a lot. I also enjoy doing adventurous activities such as skydiving. For now, only in the holidays, but who knows in the future more often!

I also love travelling; my dream destinations are Japan, Thailand and the United States. As a child, I used to go to Morocco to visit family. In recent years, I have become very interested in other cultures and countries. I have been to Croatia, Bulgaria and Spain. That got me so excited that I want to broaden my horizons further.

How did you end up at Hanko?

After my studies, I started as a trainee/intern at Wieland Fudickar, a subsidiary of Wieland-Werke AG (producer of semi-finished copper and copper alloys). Following my traineeship/internship, I worked there for six years as a sales assistant and also in quality management.

Last year, my brother-in-law Mohamed told me that he was looking for a colleague for the newly established Hanko office in Hagen. After hearing more about the position and the plans, I became very excited. I immediately felt at home and the year at Hanko Germany flew by.

What is your position at Hanko?

My official position is sales assistant, but actually I am the jack-of-all-trades. At the start of the day, I never know what the day has in store for me.

What makes work so fun for you?

The family atmosphere, the contact with customers and the successes. We started as a new company, so you see the results very quickly. From the beginning until now, it has been very busy. It's a great experience to grow with a company.

Where does your strength lie?

I am patient and tenacious, I don't give up until a satisfactory solution is found. Others describe me as a positive and kind-hearted person.

What does the Hanko Family mean to you?

Cooperation and helpfulness! You get all the support you need. In turn, I always try to give a colleague all the support he or she needs. Even though we are in Hagen, we are welcomed by all colleagues with open arms. It is as if we work in the same office every day. Despite not being in the Netherlands, we feel like a big part of the family!

What does 'Dedication for Insulation' mean to you?

Dedication for Insulation means finding sustainable solutions for me. That is the basis for long-term and satisfying cooperation for us and our customers. That is our minimum standard for our work. We measure our success by the satisfaction of our customers!
