MEET THE FAMILY | Cor Lokers
Who is Cor?
I live with my wife Jolanda, 2 children, Saint Bernhard and 3 Portuguese dirtbags in Oosterhout. We love eating out and enjoy Sushi and Chinese the most.
I have also been collecting Mercedes model cars for years, I now have 250 of them; ranging from a half-centimetre miniature car to two "real" models: a 190 vintage car and a 21-year-old Mercedes. To expand my collection, I go to fairs and look a lot on the internet.
Besides collecting, I also love tinkering. The 190 was totaled and I completely restored it together with an acquaintance. We spent at least six months on this; every single screw was removed and completely rebuilt. The next project is the restoration of the 21-year-old Mercedes.
What is your job title at Hanko?
I am a truck driver and mainly drive the sheet metal around.
How did you end up at Hanko?
I had been driving to Russia for years; every week I went to Moscow with a truck full of flowers.
In 1999, the flower market finally collapsed completely and I got other rides. Eventually I walked into the employment office to see if they had anything nice. After a nice introduction, I started. The first week before Hanko, of course, it was a lot of searching with the street book in hand. These days, of course, I drive my routes blindfolded!
What makes the work so fun for you?
The freedom and the contact with customers. In addition, I can think along about the route and there is always room for consultation.
What is your strength?
Delivering as quickly as possible and always staying calm.
What does the Hanko Family mean to you?
It is a very nice company; everyone is always up for a chat and there is always a listening ear.
What does Dedication for Insulation mean to you?
Working together to ensure that products are delivered to the right place at the right time!
